Here there and everywhere

Dipple Dappled

Another busy day, starting with an online interview at 10am and then desk work all day.  I got out for a walk late morning and my blip is of a square with a garden and the terrace of restaurant Toni Bigoti in the corner. It's very close to Plaza Carme, yesterday's pic.

The person that I've been working with online for the last 18 months has left the school in Switzerland and they've asked me to be their main course tutor on their consecutive course(s). In addition to the design and running of the courses, I'm doing the interviewing of the candidates, supporting the newly-trained up assistant course tutor, who'll be working with me on the courses and getting him more involved with the bigger picture things.  I'm also helping them organize their Moodle, which is a bit overburdened with documents at the moments, making it a challenge for course participants to manage. This all means more work, more responsibility, but also more freedom to make changes. Good, but a bit scary to be back in the driving seat again. Fingers crossed that we have enough candidates to run the course on March now!  Until we know that for sure, I can't really start working on the course timetable and teaching rotas. The different options are already taking up brain space though!  The centre can't advertise for practice students for the course till we know how many participants (trainee teachers) will be on the course, as the rota has an impact on when we start teaching practice.  We can't have teaching practice with no students!! Aagghh!!
