An enjoyable outing
Today I met up with dear friend The Other M with whom I often share a cultural outing. The Powerhouse Museum had two interesting exhibitions: Eucalyptusdom which celebrates the gum tree and its many functions and significance as an icon in our history; and Clay Dynasty showing contemporary ceramic pieces, many of whose creators I knew or had met or had heard of from my own time working in the medium.
Then off for a less cultural drink or two and a chin wag at the nearby Lord Wolseley Hotel, to top off the day (although those two ceramic flamingos are pretty cultural).
So good to be out and about. Looking forward to Friday and the weekend. Be safe and well.
