Hyacinths with bulbs

I looked through some reduced plants that were on sale at my local supermarket and decided to buy this pot of hyacinths which must have fallen over and lost most of its soil. This is how they looked when lifted them out of the pot. I gave up trying to tidy up the loose soil around them as it was so fragile and crumbly. I like how the roots show within the remaining soil.
