Collected my new camera Nikon D500 from town this am. It’s a beast compared to my toy-like D350. I think Perhaps I am the last person to purchase D500 as the model has very recently been discontinued!

This afternoon was spent at the Matinee performance ( free cup of tea, few ads or trailers, pullman seats) of Belfast at the Cottage Road Cinema in Headingley. It was the perfect venue for this homage to the Director’s home town. I’ve heard the reviews are good, Oh dear though…I thought it uneven in tone, sickly, and Dame Judy’s accent is awful. Anyway I think the cinema is lovely, second only to the Hyde Park Picture House for an old fashioned cinema experience.
