Bank of Westmorland
On a very dull drizzly afternoon in Kendal the bright lights of the HSBC bank stood out. I was interested to read the green plaque on its wall put up by the Kendal Civic Society (extra) and as a result crossed the road and tried to take a car free shot of this former Bank of Westmorland, through the constant traffic that is Kendal's one way system.
The oldest purpose built branch in the HSBC network in England and Wales and sporting a lion made of artificial stone in 1840 deserved a Blip
