I took the train to Oxford... It was a complicated-feeling day (nostalgia, pain, enjoyment, disorientation, ...), but meeting up with A. for lunch, then going for a long-overdue canal photoamble with Arachne were excellent reasons to face the complications.
Arachne had suggested a Hythe Bridge to Aristotle Lane photoamble (along the Oxford Canal) many years ago, to see how similar or different our resulting images would be... I enjoyed trying to see our walk through Arachne's eyes, but I think that we both came to the conclusion that our various senses are drawn to quite different focusses, even if our views of the world overlap in many ways.
I am glad that revisiting Oxford could include such positive experiences.
