Abstract Thursday: "Doughnut time"

The first Abstract Thursday of the month is always freestyle, and as I'm doing the Mono Month Challenge I had it in mind to come up with something very contrasty with bold shapes and strong tones. Then I remembered I still had the 500mm mirror lens on the camera and I went for an easier option :D that produced something a bit softer and more subtle. 

I took this looking along the drive, with out of focus highlights on a sunlit bush giving the lens's doughnut bokeh.
