Such a lot of work

A spider has been busy in our en suite bathroom over the last few days.  I'm afraid all that work has now been destroyed by a feather duster.

It's been a rather bitty sort of day.  We were expecting a delivery of wood "between 0914 and 1114".  In fact, it didn't arrive till after 1500!  It's on a pallet, so it has remained in our front yard - hopefully we'll have the energy to deal with it tomorrow.  We've also fielded several emails from our solicitor in Ireland - one requesting (amongst other things) copies of our passports, which we had offered when we were in the office, but they turned down!  I continue to be a bit concerned about the laid back and slightly chaotic service.

W had slept badly, partly because he got a "brain worm" about the gin and wine which we will need to transport to Ireland.  The final result was a decision to take a trip up to Edinburgh at some stage before we go to Ireland, to leave some of the excess alcohol with ArcLight and Mr A.  Not sure if that isn't a bit risky in itself!!!!
