Tree of mystery
Went to the Lewes office today for meetings, lunch in the Swan, my favourite pub, and an afternoon in a sparsely occupied office. It wasn’t as cold as the last time I was there, so managed to see it through to the end of the day without thinking I’d rather be at home.
On the way back to the station, this silhouetted tree caught my eye. It looked so impressive against its backdrop of an ordinary house of a kind that I sometimes feel would be great to live in when retired, especially in Lewes. Maybe one day. And not far from the Swan.
