Frances Short Pond

Flagstaff.

       Our day started in the dark and cold driving through a snow storm over to Show Low by way of McNary and Pinetop to take care of some paperwork that Kathy missed (not her fault) on yesterday's visit. We then continued our journey to Flagstaff in daylight on clear roads though it was bitterly cold. We arrived in good time for a leisurely lunch at Himalayan Grill and Kathy requested I show her the fabled pond I visit. She was not wearing appropriate footwear and anyway the wind was viciously cold. I believe high temps. barely broke freezing point. Someone else was at the pond feeding the ducks. The extra shows a selection of the shoveller ducks in attendance.
