Commemoration

I had no idea who John Home was, and had never heard of Douglas.

Apparently these are the opening lines:

My name is Norval; on the Grampian Hills
My father feeds his flocks; a frugal swain,
Whose constant cares were to increase his store.

Can't say I'll be ordering a copy from Amazon. Maybe some things are best forgotten.
