The reason the Acidanthera didnt flower the second year is I believe because they did'nt like the soil/climatic conditions in my garden so I lifted them this afternoon, ready to treat to some fresh soil & pots. Carol Klein's advice to overwinter under cover will be heeded.. I cut back the rugosa roses, saving the cuttings. I'll post an advert on the local FB page, someone might like to make use of them.
