It's Abstract Thursday!

Today there is no particular theme for AT as it's the first one of a new month.  My subject is Violet's Chinese New Year lantern, made at Brownies on Tuesday: it's made from silver card and decorated with many sequins and strips of red tissue paper.  Of course I've adjusted the colour very slightly and given this photo a whirl through the Wave filter in PS Elements to make it a little more abstract.  Many thanks to Ingeborg for her continued hosting.  If you follow my link you will see that her own lovely abstract also has the Chinese New Year as its subject
