2595. The kindness of Blippers!
I arrived home today to find these bag frames waiting for me courtesy of fellow blippper lizzie_birkett who was having a bit of a craft clear out!
Thank you so much Lizzie, I am downloading some “How to” videos to watch and hope to make three lovely bags using these beautiful frames!
We had a dreadful night at the airport hotel last night, we booked to stay over because the weather can be so unpredictable and we have arrived back feet deep in snow before in January! We actually landed quite early and after a short walk in the pouring rain we checked in and thought about getting something to eat…….
That was easier said than done and an hour later we were still waiting for a bowl of soup and some sausage and mash!
We finally got back to our room at about 8:30pm having wasted hours trying to get a meal, which, when it came was awful too…did our covid tests, (that was a debacle as we had codes missing on the test kits!) which thankfully were negative.
The room was so hot, up at 25 degrees at one point so we had to open the window which then meant that we were kept up by the constant noise of flights landing and taking off…finally gave up at 4am…got up and decided to head out to a 24 hour MacDonalds for breakfast as we couldn’t face trying to order food at the hotel.
We eventually arrived home at 7am…unpacked and sorted by 9am, shopping done and lunch organised!
It feels good to be home after being away for three weeks, back to the comforts of home!
