The Garden House
An enjoyable run in the country landed us at The Garden House, where a magnificent Snowdrop Festival was in full swing. Apparently there are around 350 cultivars on display. All I know is there were lots and lots of wonderful snowdrops, ready to burst forth. I think maybe another week with some good sunshine will bring them to their peak. I have never seen snowdrops with yellow bits (main)- they were astounding and so teeny. Two of my other favourites are in extras.
We were lucky with the weather - I only dripped on us a little and we had some sunshine - but the wind was bitter!
All in all a fabulous visit and a grand day out.
