A nation mourns...

I remember my family working in coal mines.
I remember free school milk.
I remember when greed was a sin not a badge of pride.

But I also remember power cuts, strikes and labour running the country into the ground in the 70's, an era that created an opportunity for a change of government .... but that was one hell of a naughty step the nation was forced to sit on.
