What a difference a day makes

Simply walked around Strandshag bay at Derwentwater today - frequent hail showers and very high winds prevented us from venturing into the hills.

We thought we'd timed it about right (and in fareness, didn't get hammered by too much hail) but you'll see towards the left of this photo the hail coming in and obscuring Maiden Moor and Catbells, yet at the top of the photo there are some breaks in the clouds. Compared to yesterdays pic of Catbells, there's a huge change in the weather. The forecast for the weekend isn't good either!
