I spotted Elwetritsche's and Munnie's photos of their driver license and thought it would be fun to join the challenge   :-D
German driver licenses are called "Lappen" (rag), and that's what they are.
I always wonder that they are still accepted. I was 18. I remember that I once had a control and the officer had a good laugh about it :-D
Mine seems to have gotten wet and has started to dissolve and get rusty. It will be replaced by a plastic card next year.
