Love at first sight

Woke  to a good covering of snow today.. seriously??  Thank goodness it didn't hang around long!  Bitterly cold on our walk when we came across the local farmer carrying a very limp two day old lamb.  He was taking it in to warm up by the fire and give it a feed.  These hill sheep are tough.. but their lambs are struggling with the coldness.  
Further on we came across this field of young cattle.  They were so excited to see my Westie that they all came running at high speed to greet us.  She ran at high speed in the opposite direction!!!  Luckily the fence held and I was able to take a picture of the 'Team'.  A very good looking bunch I reckon  I particularly liked the black faced one with the Henna highlights to its forelock!!
