Featured photo is chosen by T.  T, calls her "The Smiling Lady." Have not asked for her name yet, she calls me "Ate" /Older Sister here whenever I buy produce from her stall. Pineapples are now our favourite source of fiber. Each pineapple costs just 15 pesos, just like a bundle of Pako (the fern I mentioned the other day).

Title is from a lovely new song: "Dekimasu: Let's Learn Japanese" by Reese Lansangan, a local artist on Spotify. Here's the link to the song if you are interested to listen:  (https://open.spotify.com/track/0SrDSU5nFwtmrZzKruV6er?si=h6e2QKvMT9W72FhrMVMHJw&utm_source=copy-link).

Inspiring words from Mark Manson's "Everything is F*cked:
*The more terrifying the world is, the more important it is to summon up the courage to face it.
The more confusing life becomes, the more valuable it is to adopt humility.
*No matter the turbulence or chaos taking place on earth, they stand above it all, untouched, always shining, always guiding us through the darkness.

From Anne Wilson Schaef's "Meditation's for Women Who Do Too Much" : Such a little thing, finding time alone. We have often felt that if we took time for ourselves, we were taking it away from our children, our spouses, or our work and therefore it must be a perversion. So many little moments during the day are so precious to us. Those few moments after we have sent everyone else off for the day and we can breathe...those times alone in the car or on the bus or subway when no one around knows us or can intrude...those sighing times in the bathroom when nobody is there...even those stolen moments alone while doing the dishes are precious to us. It's all right. Moments alone and our need for them are not a perversion, they are a life-giving force.
