De-LIGHT-ed Downtown

One of Cristina's friends was involved in the light festival, so she had planned to go tonight. She drove Bella, Evan, and me downtown, and we wandered through block after block of lighting extravaganza. Fountains of light, animals made of light, pillars of light, rotating light, kaleidoscopic light, sparkly light, strobe light, spinning light, pulsing light, and some forms of light I can't even describe. It was a pleasure to see so many people together for the sheer wonder of it. As you can see in the extra (audience watching a group of light-juggling acrobats), almost everyone was masked. Many children were present. Physical distancing was tossed to the winds, but at least we were all outside.

I'm touched and grateful for the comments, stars, and hearts for yesterday's (natural) sound and light show. I wasn't able to comment today because I was making photos of a press conference for JoAnn Hardesty all morning and then spending time with Bella this afternoon and evening. Thank you for sharing my pleasure in so many ways. You are the dearest community.
