Red Berries after an Ice Storm

It rained all day Thursday, and sometime in the night, it turned to ice and freezing rain. When we got up in the morning, everything was covered in a layer of ice, and so I took my camera, and out into the winter world I went!

The main roads were terrible and the side roads were terrible. I think I only saw one car the whole time I was out walking. The ice, so treacherous on the roads, looked especially lovely on these red berries I found just as I started walking back home. I took MANY photos!  :-)

Not a bad find for National Wear Red Day (in the U.S.), eh?
