First hare of this year

I walked on top of The Wolds this morning and it was bitterly cold but I caught my first glimpse of a hare just posing but a bit far away. So now I will be on a mission to get a few good shots of these beautiful animals  this year. The male pheasants are all dressed up and showing off their colours, the fieldfares and redwings were feeding in the fields and on a hedge were a lot of tuneful Linnets.  A good morning!
