Gimme Shelter

Our rented cottage has two similar cottages close to it and a shared barbecue shelter, which is not really used in the wintertime. The barbecue forks hanging from the ceiling are silhouetted against the snow. The roof clearly shows the perhaps 60 cm snow layer developed during this winter. The extra shows our cottage.

It had snowed during the evening and night including also some freezing rain. We had an enjoyable skiing tour of 9 km at only -4C. 

I am sure that I have used Gimme Shelter before as the soundtrack but it is one of the best Stones' tracks ever, and Merry Clayton's background vocals are just awesome playing such a major role in the track.
