Translating from Scots Gaelic to English as 'it is wet and really horrible'. I just happened to be practicing weather phrases on Duolingo today and this seemed apt. At least it wasn't sleeting like yesterday afternoon.

Met a friend for a blowy walk along the prom, a good blether, coffee and toast. Was pretty damp by the time I got home but it was worth it.

Followed by a lazy family afternoon watching the winter Olympics and rugby. Very relaxing.
