New life

The roses in the Peace Garden are full of new shoots.
We had a phone call from our son this morning to share the lovely news that he and his girlfriend had got engaged. They were so happy and off to spend a day out together. We will see them tomorrow. We walked the dogs with our daughter and early evening, she and her husband came round to toast J and J's engagement with some bubbles.
