A day at the Palace

Crystal Palace that is, not Buckingham Palace! Or, to be precise, Crystal Palace Football Club. They were playing Hartlepool United in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. I was an honorary Hartlepool supporter for the day as I went with friends who hail from that town on the North East coast. There were nearly 5,000 Hartlepool fans at the game and, boy, did they make some noise even though their team lost 2 - 0. I still have their songs and chants ringing in my ears.The main picture is of the media gantry and I liked the silhouette effect. The other picture shows a flurry of blue and white Hartlepool flags.
