Spotter spotted

Our fitness to fly email arrive just before we left home late this afternoon on our way to an airport hotel for an overnight stop ready for an early start in the morning.

Somewhat of a rigmarole finding the parking, catching the bus and checking into the hotel. Restaurant was packed out so in the end we ordered takeaways to have in the room far from the maddening crowds.

Hopefully, we haven’t fallen foul of the drop off parking charge of £5. I checked on their site snd registered at the hotel. I know Cathy47 (I think) was caught out by these charges recently which alerted me to the possibility of being caught out myself.

We laughter ourselves silly at a Bill Bailey show on the BBC iPlayer which went a long way to restoring sanity after a few hours of madness. We were weak and helpless by the end of his show and the walls of the room liberally sprayed… (not)

There’s a few hurdles still to jump before we can be confident of arriving in the Dolomites. I think all the paperwork is in order. I’ve checked and checked.

Fingers crossed the next blip will be from somewhere in Austria or Italy. If not it’ll be from Kent. I may not be doing much in the way of comments!
