Props

The rehearsals for Hound of the Baskervilles are really going well and we're just at the point now where some of the lines are down and we're also starting to get props to play with.

The amateur dramatic props departments of the world are truly the unsung heroes of the amateur stage. The various props masters & mistresses are out there combing the charity shops and looking for bargains and curios wherever they can find them.

This little lot turned up today. Not only had the bottles been sourced from a charity shop, but Alyson (our props mistress) had been on t'interweb, found some images of ye olde bottles, printed them out and stuck them on the various bottles for added authenticity.

These bottles will be some distance from the audience, so the words will not be legible, but I just love that attention to detail!
