Iris

I can't resist irises so when I saw pots of these, at a reduced price, on Wednesday, I had to have them. Iris reticulata Katharine Hodgkin.

No cleaning today as the visitors are staying at the lodge until tomorrow. That gave me a chance to go into town to shop for fleece-lined trousers to wear on the boat next month. I'm down to just one pair and keep forgetting to look for more until our holiday is imminent, by which time the winter clothing has dwindled to just tiny and large sizes or been replaced with the summer stuff.

Anyhow, I came away with 3 pairs. I've been needing these since before  the first lockdown so I'm a happy bunny in my cosy trousers.
