Needles

This was the highlight of a blustery day on the IOW for the family birthday celebration. I could hardly hold the phone still in the face of the raging wind blowing in from the West. After a morning on the beach looking for fossilised bits and bobs under the supervision of the vaguely interested guide, we headed to Yarmouth and then the Needles in search of IOW scenes and sights. Then back to the Wight Mouse Inn for down time before dinner. Had a tense time following the fortunes of West Ham’s lucky win over Kidderminster in the FA cup but relaxed when they did eventually manage to win.
