Anyone fancy a bit of root?

I was trying to capture Bertie’s fascination with the hailstones but this shot of him chomping on an old exposed tree root turned out better.

It was a day of contrasts. At its best, I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face and it was great to soak up even the tiniest bit of vitamin D. At its worst, it was almost as dark as the onset of night with snowflakes and/or hailstones being blown by the wind.
