Mr. I

Heartbroken today with the news of Mr. I's departure from this world. 
He was my dear friend CaliforniaGirl's partner and husband. 
He represented the gentleness and free spirit of what California used to be in its golden years. An architect by profession, his ideas were those of a progressive liberal, and of someone oriented towards the arts. He loved taking pictures and gardening, and his heart was filled with sunshine. We used to have long conversations about politics, and we would laugh together, enjoy the beach, good food, his garden, and the many adventures that CaliforniaGirl planned for all of us.
My husband and I will miss our dear friend.
