Gone To The Birds

Today was an afternoon spent at the youngest brother in laws rural property.  He is kind hearted in the extreme and when a woman was looking to rehome some exotic hens and ducks he couldn't say no.  Here is baby Ella and her mum showing us the menagerie.  Earlier three of the four brothers and their sister sorted through a box of family photos going back to the nineteen forties.  At the end they had been put in envelopes with titles and there is now some order to the collection.  There is also a small pile called, "to be copied" so all the siblings will get a copy.  The photos are helping illustrate the family history.  The second extra is the three brothers amused by either their clothes or what they were photographed doing.  Their mother did regularly document the growth of her family and there are many photos of the five siblings lined up.

C is the way we begin.
H to make the letter hen.
I am the way.
C when the seasons are grey.
K is to fill him in.
E I'm near the end.
C-H-I-C-K-E-N
That's the way to spell chicken.
