Lord Howe Island

Yippee we are on a short holiday.
Still in New South Wales but 780 kilometres from home. The scenery is beautiful but boy it is windy. The two hour flight in a prop jet was interesting !! and the landing had a few people gasping their breath ( including me).
The wind is still gusting 60 is per hour.! But should
 ( if we believe the forecast) improve over the next few days.
