Eryngium
A day so wet I was almost forced to use a shot I don't think I have ever bliped before, raindrops on a windowpane.
Fortunately, the garden studio came to the rescue when it was raining at an amount I was prepared to dash through. Ready set up in a vase was the Eryngium Clickychick had used the other day. So here it is from a different angle. Lazy? Me? Never!
For those who are thinking "that looks familiar" Eryngiums are a common coastal plant in the UK, known as Sea Holly. Obviously, this is a cultivated variety or not British as the colour is better than any UK Sea Holly I have seen.
