I am hiding!

I hate January and February! I moan about it every year and these two months seem to last all year! That said a sunny bright crisp winter morning I will admit is pretty special. There are faint whispers of spring, the bulbs are poking up, snow drops are out and the Hazel catkins are in full bloom ( if that's what they do!) I was looking at some and as I turned on catkin around I spotted this guy hiding at the back! It was pretty warm and the sun was out so I guess he was making the most of it.
I have not posted regularly as Marla our foster dog kept me on my toes when we were out so I didn't really have time to look at nature or interesting things to photograph. She has now gone to her forever home and calm has once again descended on the house! It is very odd I miss her but I don't! She was a very energetic and loud puppy but also a cuddle monster so I don't miss the 5am mornings but I do miss her cuddles. She has gone to a wonderful couple not to far from me so I am happy she were she needs to be.
