Challenging

A trip over the moors to an Orienteering event near Roseberry Topping ( the hill in the main photo). It was bitterly cold and blustery. Rather too many brambles for my liking. I am still finding thorns lodged in my legs despite wearing protection on my lower legs.

As I finished some wild weather arrived as I quickly took shelter in the car. Richard wasn’t so lucky being blown over in some of the gusts.   The drive back was interesting (see extra). The road over Blakey Ridge had settling snow.

Rather glad to get back home. Two cups of tea and a hot bath just about thawed us out!
