Between the Rain

Whilst Annie studied, I (Chris) spent much of today preparing a short presentation for the camera club and also producing a couple of images for an upcoming competition. Outside it was bright and dry this morning but this afternoon looked less inviting with intermittent showers and a strong breeze. Still, I spent a happy 45 minutes outside feeding then watching the birds, clouds and planes and waiting for a rainbow (we did get one, it last 2 minutes). When the sun did appear so did a solitary kite which I tracked (got to love the servo focus and animal eye tracking on the Canon R6) before it eventually titled up to capture the sun on the underside. No need to lift the shadows in post processing as a result.
