Something Different...!!

Had a recipe for Malted Tea Loaf....but no idea where to get malt extract....but discovered no problem getting it in Holland & Barrett. I’ve never used it before ....
Well as you can see the ‘Loaf’ didn’t really work out great...I soaked the fruit in green tea and sugar overnight and as you can probably see it spectacularly sank to the bottom...I wasn’t at all surprised as the mix was extremely wet and slack and didn’t look ‘right’...however, it does taste nice but I won’t be making that exact recipe again....
I’ll make a regular Tea Breac and flavor it with the malt...
Just back from Dublin ...we were allowed in to see my MinL today as thankfully all are well again...
