Time for do some work

Voluntary work (the best sort) with Butterfly Conservation at Wakebarrow, part of the Whitbarrow woodlands.  It's a long-term programme to widen the pathways with 'scallops' of cleared ground that will hopefully encourage butterflies to extend their range at this lovely site.  Working with a chainsaw and two bush-cutters, as well as a few of us with long-handled clippers, makes the job a lot easier.
