Up with the birds to get ready for Eva's second outing to Pickering for dressage with Atherston riding club. She was really nervous and the warm up ring was rammed. I thought she was going to cry and bail when they called her. But she didn't. She took a deep breath and went in and absolutely smashed it. She took on board all the comments from the last test and even though Jack didn't like the judges table at the end of the arena and put in a stop she quickly sorted him. And she came second!!!! She was so pleased and I am so proud of them both. They have such a lovely partnership. 

This evening we got a message from her piano teacher to say she'd tested positive for Covid. Eva was there Friday so we did a test and unfortunately it was also positive. So a week off school for her. The rest of us are negative. We've done well to go 2 years till our first positive test. We weren't in close contact with anyone at the dressage so unlikely we've infected anyone there.
