All’s well that ends well

Martin has a training day tomorrow for work so we decided to make a weekend trip of it. We booked an AirBnB, made some plans, setting off on schedule.

Our halfway stop was Audley End House and Gardens. The house and grounds were beautiful, the stewards informative and shared interesting tales.

Back on the road we drove through all types of weather. I have never seen so many rainbows within a short time frame!

When we arrived at our accommodation, an alleged heated and insulated yurt, we took one look at it and booked a Travelodge room. Fortunately the owner agreed to a full refund immediately.

Once warm and fed in our room, we agreed it was one of the those trips that won’t be forgotten quickly.
