Juvenile bullfinch
EDIT - Thank you all, it seems after looking closely they are either redpolls or linnets, we have been besieged by them again today.
We were somewhat surprised today when our regular adult bullfinches brought what appeared to be 5 juvenile bullfinches to the bird feeder with them. This is completely the wrong time of year for fledglings, and as we have had outbreaks of snow this weekend we are worried about their survival. All we can do is ensure the feeders are well stocked for them and keep our fingers crossed.
