While tidying through old paperwork today I came across a timetable and tickets for a hovercraft service that crossed the River Forth between Kirkcaldy and Portobello, near Edinburgh. The service ran as a trial in 2007 and although it appeared to be popular nothing permanent ever came from it, which was disappointing. The extra shots are views from the landing stages at Portobello and Kirkcaldy.
