6th February 1952 - I remember it well

70 years ago we went from having a King to having a Queen.
We still have the same Queen - her Platinum Jubilee - a date of mixed emotions for her of course as it was the date her father died.
But what a reign, what service she has given, how the world has changed!
So many celebrations are planned for this year - she will need some stamina at 96 (in April). God Bless the Queen.
