Bishop's Palace

I didn't take any pictures today, feeling too tired.  So this is a picture from a trip 12 years ago to Galveston, Texas.  The Bishop's Palace was built in 1893 and was originally a 3-story 19,000 sq ft home for a family with nine children.  It survived the 1900 hurricane which destroyed a lot of the island. Later it was the home for the Catholic bishop.  Now it is a National Historic Landmark.  My friend and I toured it, and I loved it.  I would buy it if I had the money to maintain it!
(It was a very cold dreary day when we were there.)
