Sunset at Little River.

We had such a lovely afternoon!   Headed up the Cabot Trail to the Dancing Moose and had a fabulous lunch there.   Then onto Cape Smokey, the new and improved ski resort near Ingonish.   We bumped into a couple of friends and had a nice visit and then just had a good time watching the skiers and the snowboarders.   I used to be an avid downhill skier, on the slopes early in the morning and squeezing in that last run.....but no longer.   Terry and i did go skier a few times since i've lived out here, but i now no longer have any desire to be out in -10 degrees, hurtling down a hill on skies.....none!!!   but it was fun watching and reminiscing!

Then a beautiful drive home as the sun started setting.   We stopped at Little River beach area and had our 5pm wine and cheese!   Home and dinner with some of the Olympics....wow, those moguls .....very impressive!

And just a note to self:  Little Owen is 8 months old today, can hardly believe it!
