Honister Slate Quarry

Not the best of weather today for our visitors.  We drove over to the Honister Slate Quarry to have a look in their showroom.  They claim it is the only remaining working slate quarry in the country. One day when Lottie is a bit older we will take her on one of the mine tours but she is too young to get anything out of it at the moment.
