Victorian Postbox

I decided to use Jensphotos' Mono Monday challenge of Letterbox as an excuse to seek out an old Victorian wall post box and before heading off to some local wetlands for lunch and a walk.  


Recently I've been enjoying looking at composite images made in Photoshop using a Fine Art / Grunge style, so I also took shots of a concrete horse mounting box and an old postcard I found in my writing case (yes I still have one of those!) to provide texture and background interest. It was then a case of merging them together.  As usual, I spent a long time playing as my Photoshop skills are not very advanced, but eventually came up with this image which I'm reasonably pleased with.
